What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Accountant position at EmployHQ?
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly invoices for all billable projects.
- Issue large purchase orders by entering in accounting system and sending to appropriate vendors and project managers.
- Audit subcontractor billing against subcontract and research discrepancies
- Prepare general contractor change orders ensuring all required paperwork and coding is completed correctly.
- Assist employees, vendors, clients, or customers by answering inquiries related to subcontracts, changing orders, and billings.
- Track outstanding receivables and make necessary phone calls to collect.
- Work with cash receipts team members to reconcile variances that occur in the application of cash.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience required.
- Previous accounting experience in the construction industry preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
