Position: Operations Manager
This is specialized work in the provision of direct service as identified in Individual Service Plans (ISP) of adults who have a developmental disability. Work is performed at the agency facility and in the community.

OBJECTIVES
- Review and improve organizational effectiveness by developing processes, overseeing employees, establishing a highly motivational work environment, and implementing innovative changes
2. Maintain building, grounds and equipment to meet all health, safety and inspection standards, including but not limited to: calling for repair services, scheduling routine maintenance/inspections, and submitting major building maintenance proposals to administration.
3. Demonstrate, and motivate the team to follow company standards mission, vision, and core values.
4. Collaborate with the leadership team on building operations and executing initiatives that fall under your area of responsibility.
5. Responsible for developing and executing social media strategies across multiple platforms, which may include managing content to engage with the audience, brand awareness, and responding to user interactions across social channels.
6. Strategically manage social media platforms by creating content for the organization’s social media sites, which may include but are not limited to writing posts, articles, multimedia content, and advertising.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily operations of the building, assign staffing responsibilities each day, and address general building issues as they occur.
- Attract, develop, and lead our team through effective coaching, setting personalized objectives, and holding each team member accountable for their performance and capabilities.
3. Oversee and coordinate cleaning and maintenance of the building to ensure a safe, compliant, and clean work environment. Delegate responsibilities to team members when appropriate.
4. Communicate appropriate information across the team and to external stakeholders.
5. Evaluate productivity and building operations and implement strategies for improvement.
6. Generate and publish engaging content on social media platforms to foster community interaction.
7. Facilitate staff call-offs and vacation requests. Ensure the proper level of supervision is maintained at all times.
8. Perform human resources related functions including conflict resolution, disciplinary procedures, staff training, and task delegation with employees and individuals served.
Physical Requirements:
1. May be exposed to infectious diseases.
2. May work with individuals who display aberrant behaviors.
3. Able to lift and/or move up to 50lbs, support and move individuals in a safe manner.
4. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, and drive. Employees will use their hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; move in repetitive motions, reach with hands and arms; push and pull objects and individuals. Employees will use their torso and legs to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, twist, squat, crouch, or crawl. Employees need to talk, hear, smell, and see for essential job functions.
5. May be exposed to chemicals commonly found in an office environment or associated with facility maintenance.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's Degree in Business or Business Management or minimum of two year’s experience in management and/or human resources.
2. Proficient in wage and hour laws and Humana Resource laws.
3. Valid Drivers License and ability to be covered by EDI insurance.
4. Active CPR/First Aid Certification.
5. Satisfactory criminal background check, Nurse Aid, Abuser Registry, driving record, and any required background checks determined by the Department of Developmental Disabilities and the Department of Transportation.
6. Experience in accounting functions, and payroll processing.
7. Knowledge of various social media platforms and utilize analytics to drive customer engagement.
Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
