You Have
- Highly skilled, experienced and versatile photo editor to work as both a hands-on creator and facilitator of premium visual content across HuffPost
- Handle day to day tasks including photo editing, photo research, story layout, clearing rights, creating & executing photo illustrations for editorial stories
- Assign freelance photographers to cover original HuffPost stories, handle payment/contract and story layout/edits
- Develop photo essay pitches from photographers and well as in-house photo essay/reportage/newsy essays
- Work alongside Photo team and Legal to field, handle or escalate timely and breaking legal usage queries from across the newsroom
- Work with National, Now, Politics teams to create and execute both longform and short turnaround visual solutions
