Long-term clients include companies in the Government IT Services, Large-Project Construction, Manufacturing, Interior Design, Accounting Services, Law Firms, Digital Marketing companies, & Healthcare.
HIGHLIGHTS
You will work directly with me- owner and founder Freddy Mayhall ( https://www.linkedin.com/in/freddymayhall/ ) holding critical responsibilities surrounding the candidate experience: resume review, prospective candidate follow-up, candidate outreach, phone screening, and summary write-up for client presentations, all while partnering with team members to ensure constant flow of candidate pipeline activity progressing to roles being filled, with an eye on meeting or exceeding quality and timeline expectations within our billable hours' commitments to our clients.
Initial work hours available will be 10-20 but can increase based on your interest and performance. Future full-time hours are possible but not required.
- PHONE SCREENING APPOINTMENT REVIEW & PHONE SCREENING activities will be most of your work, at least initially (approximately 50% or more of your time)
- JOB POSTING, RESUME REVIEW, & ACTIVITY STAGE UPDATES, in the applicant tracking system, although “actively seeking” candidates” are not the majority of the work for most of our roles.
- POSITION/COMPANY LEARNING- Research/understand desired/required position KSAs in order to approve prospective candidates to move from sourcing to the phone screening stage (resume review) & to author insightful summary write-ups for candidate presentations to clients
- Partner in editing consolidated “go-to-market” social-media & email versions of recruitment materials provided by the client and creation of phone screening documents for new roles.
- Post-phone screen client write-up responsibilities may be added, based on your performance and interest in adding this as part of your growth
- Ongoing communication and partnership with recruiting workflow Managers

MOVEMENT TO FUTURE FULL-TIME
Can include these responsibilities, based on interest:
- Provide direction/guidance to sourcing & phone prospecting team members & solicit feedback to improve subsequent data uploads from the sourcing team to ensure candidate pipelines NEVER run out
- Interview, hire, train, motivate direct reports in their roles and responsibilities while proving period biweekly summary updates on opportunities and challenges amongst the team, along with any client mentions as needed.
- Or other growth opportunities to be agreed upon
REQUIREMENTS
Requires 2 years of experience in talent acquisition to include phone screening sourcing PLUS:
- Meticulous attention to detail, ability to track and maintain activities and responsibilities autonomously and with little supervision
- Intermediate to Advanced with Excel, csv files, and Google sheets to store/update data and compile and maintain reports
- Flexible schedule but MUST be generally available Monday through Friday with at least 3 weekdays to around 7pm Pacific Time for "after business hours call" in this time zone
Additional Details
- The IDEAL candidate will be exceptional at providing an educational and delightful phone screen experience as well as both an interest in and experience delivering Indeed resume database research and other internet research work.
- Initially, this role will be part-time up to 20-ish hours per week with no guarantees of increase in hours in the very near future, but could increase over time.
- You MUST be available with a flexible schedule up to 5pm PST/7PM CST Monday through Friday with at least 3 shifts providing the ability to work at least an hour later/ This is non-negotiable as these are the hours that need coverage. Hover, if you want to block earlier mornings and start your availability later in the day, this could be discussed.
- Finally, we are not interested in candidates who have a full or part-time job with "specific scheduled work hours," where you are required to do something else for someone else on a set schedule. Flexible freelancers or contract employees may be of most interest to us, or anyone who is ok with being flexible across most of the business day into early evening after hours.
