Project Manager Commercial Roofing

I'm the direct recruiter for a Project Manager with a specialty commercial roofing & fall protection contractor. Near you with paid travel.

Salary from $70K to $90K or MORE based on experience, weekly pay, PTO / vacations / holidays, 401k, paid benefits, growth

As Project Manager with Ideal Building Solutions ( https : / / ibsroofing.com / ) you'll plan / execute full project life cycle commercial roofing installations, managing projects from pre-construction to post-construction.

HIGHLIGHTS :

• With estimators, review / analyze project scope determining material needs. This includes :
• Analyze project specs from consulting / engineering firms
• Review estimates in Google Sheets / ask questions to project estimator
• Review aerial images of the roof / identify potential problems
• Plan projects in advance to ensure all project aspects allocated & scheduled. This includes :
• Budget for material & labor;
• Material ordering;
• Schedule / timelines;
• Safety plan;
• Drafting contracts for subcontractors / vendors
• Manage crews / subcontractors, including ensuring quality work / written specifications are being implemented to company / industry standards; issues / problems arise; verify safety guidelines are met to OSHA / company compliance standards
• Prepare / deliver progress reports to company & customer.
• Communicate with staff / supervisors / other parties re : budgets / current project financial status / Plans / goals
• Negotiate contracts when unexpected changes occur / renegotiate contracts with contractors / subcontractors
• 25% travel normal (up to 50% on occasion) : 1-2 times per month & 2-3 days at a time

5 Years of Work Experience in Commercial Roofing or broader discipline / GC experience plus :
