I'm partnering with a great company to hire aa skilled CNC Programmer / Machinist. This is a direct hire job with full benefits.! The CNC Programmer Machinist will work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure that all products meet specifications and quality standards.
Duties
- Operate CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines, to produce precision parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.
- Utilize hand tools for assembly and finishing of machined parts.
- Perform setup and calibration of CNC equipment, ensuring proper functioning.
- Conduct inspections using coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Program CNC machines using CAM software
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer and Machinist.
- Strong skills in blueprint reading and technical drawing interpretation.
- Proficiency with hand tools and assembly techniques.
- Familiarity with coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for quality assurance checks.
- Experience with CAM programming software
- Ability to perform machining tasks with precision, including welding when necessary.
- Simetron or MasterCam experience a plus
