What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Maintenance Specialist position at Employment Solutions of New York, Inc.?
I'm looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Mechanic to work onsite in Galstonbury, CT. This is a direct hire, day shift position with full benefits!
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, with the ability to work on low voltage machinery and industrial machine maintenance.
Duties
- You will be troubleshooting CNC mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process
- Performs routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly.
- Work at heights up to 30ft.
- Installing, repairing defective parts, motors, control devices, electronics, etc.,
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems on industrial machinery and manufacturing equipment
- Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools.
Requirements:
- 5 years’ experience in dealing with maintenance or equivalent education.
- Experience in Electronics, Electrical repairs, Industrial Equipment installations
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and basic wiring (480 V through control voltage, basic PLC knowledge, relays, starters etc.)
