The Program Management Leader II will lead multiple concurrent aerospace programs ensuring alignment with customer and company objectives. This role involves developing program plans, mitigating risks, overseeing financial performance, and maintaining effective communication with customers and cross-functional teams to ensure program success.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management: Oversee multiple concurrent programs ensuring they meet customer and company objectives.
- Program Planning & Risk Management: Develop comprehensive program plans including risk assessments and contingency strategies to ensure project success.
- Leadership of IPTs: Lead Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) assigning responsibilities monitoring progress and driving accountability for timely deliverables.
- Customer Communication: Maintain regular communication with customers providing program updates addressing concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Bid & Proposal Support: Collaborate with business development teams to prepare bids proposals and accurate cost estimates to support new business opportunities.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering Business or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of program management experience.
- Expertise in financial metrics.
- Experience with Work in Progress (WIP).
- Proficiency in Earned Value Management (EVM).
