Employment Solutions is partnering with a successful aerospace manufacturing company to hire a Senior Design Engineer with extensive experience in Aerospace and Defense Engineering to work in Endicott , NY. This is a direct hire full-time position with outstanding benefits!
This position can be hybrid
RESPONSIBILITIES
Solve complex engineering problems
Lead the design and development of aerospace and defense systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications.
Work with cross-functional team sto define design requirements
Design calculations, analysis,and simulations to ensure the functionality, safety, and durability of products.
Manage and review design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and test plans.
Oversee the prototyping and testing phases
REQUIREMENTS
BS Degree or Masters in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related
5 years of experience in design engineering, preferably within aerospace and defense sectors.
Expertise in mechanical design,analysis, and testing for aerospace or defense applications.
Proficiency with design and analysis tools(e.g., CAD software, FEA, simulation tools)
Experience with brazing or advanced manufacturing techniques preferred
Knowledge of aerospace and defense regulations, standards, and best practices
Familiarity with materials science and selection processesf or aerospace applications
