Job Opportunity: Box Truck Delivery Driver
Location: Windsor, CT
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay: $20 per hour (DOE)
Employment Type: Long term temporary assignment
Position Summary:
Employment Solutions is seeking a reliable and experienced Box Truck Delivery Driver for a long term temporary opportunity with one of our Clients in Windsor, CT. This position requires experience driving a box truck and delivering goods, but does NOT require a CDL. As a driver, you will be responsible for the safe upkeep of your vehicle, delivering orders on time, and providing excellent customer service. During periods of downtime, you may assist with warehouse duties as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and deliver goods using a box truck
- Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain communication with supervisors
- Uphold excellent customer service while on deliveries
- Assist in warehouse tasks during slow periods
- Maintain the upkeep of the delivery vehicle
- Assist in the warehouse as needed
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Previous experience driving a box truck and making deliveries
- Strong communication skills
- Dependable and reliable work ethic
