Travel Locations : Travel throughout the U.S. and Canada to client locations
Type : Mon – Fri full time direct hire
Wage : $30.00 - 32.00 per hourPlus $70.00 per day traveled (worksite located outside of the call center / office) Excellent Benefits!
In the field the Industrial Machine Field Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial machinery and equipment used in manufacturing and production environments. In the Call Center an Industrial Machine Technician typically serves as a technical support representative for customers or clients who use industrial machinery.
Field Responsibilities : This role is critical in ensuring that machinery operates efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.? Installation and Setup : Installing machinery and equipment, ensuring proper setup according to specifications and safety standards.? Maintenance : Performing routine maintenance checks and preventative maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.? Troubleshooting : Diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues in machinery and implementing effectiverepairs to minimize operational interruptions.? Repairs : Replacing or repairing defective parts, components, and systems in industrial machines,using tools and techniques specific to the equipment.? Documentation : Maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repair work, including service logs and inventory of parts and supplies.? Training : ? Training client shift workers how to operate and maintain industrial machinery.? Safety Compliance : Ensuring that all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and organizational policies, promoting a safe working environment.
Call Center Responsibilities : ? Customer Support : Providing assistance to customers via phone, email, or chat, helping them resolve issues with their industrial machines.? Troubleshooting : Diagnosing technical problems based on customer descriptions and guiding them through the steps to resolve these issues.? Technical Guidance : Offering instructions on equipment operation, maintenance practices, and safety protocols to ensure proper use of machinery.? Documentation : Recording customer interactions, issues reported, and resolutions provided, maintaining accurate records for future reference and quality assurance.? Collaboration : Working with field technicians or engineering teams to escalate complex issues that require on-site support or further technical investigation.? Product Knowledge : Staying updated on the latest machinery technologies, features, and troubleshooting techniques to provide accurate and effective support.
