Employment Solutions is hiring a Front Desk / Customer Service Representative for a professional medical setting in Little Rock.
We are seeking a candidate with exceptional computer skills, strong attention to detail, and excellent customer service abilities. Previous medical experience is ideal, and candidates with ICD-10 coding knowledge will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Communication:
- Answer incoming calls and collect detailed patient information, and assist in person.
- Educate patients about insurance coverage and out-of-pocket expenses.
- Data Entry and Documentation:
- Enter new orders with accuracy and update patient records.
- Research medical documentation and assign appropriate ICD-10 codes.
- Maintain detailed notes on all files.
- Medical Records Coordination:
- Request physician orders and medical records from healthcare providers.
- Review medical records to verify patient eligibility for equipment.
- Follow up on Certificate of Medical Necessity (CMN) and documentation requests.
- Insurance and Billing Support:
- Verify insurance benefits and calculate out-of-pocket costs.
- Collect payments prior to services as needed.
- Order Management and Sales Support:
- Coordinate the shipping of medical orders.
- Assist customers in office and finalize sales transactions.
- Process tickets to ensure billing readiness.
- Submit prior authorizations in a timely and accurate manner.
Qualifications:
- Preferred: Medical experience and familiarity with ICD-10 coding.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn medical software systems quickly.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
