Production Associate

1st Shift Production Associate (Temporary)
Location: Arkadelphia, Arkansas
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $21.47 per hour
Duration: April 7, 2025 - May 5, 2025

We are hiring Production Associates for a temporary role in a manufacturing environment. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a hands-on production setting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Follow all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements to ensure a safe work environment.
• Retrieve empty pails from prepositioned pallets and place them under a hopper.
• Operate the hopper valve to dispense granules into the pail to the designated level.
• Close the hopper valve to stop the flow of granules.
• Secure a lid onto the filled pail using either:
• A pneumatic sealing device by engaging a switch that applies pressure to secure the lid.
• A rubber mallet to manually tap the edges and ensure a tight seal.
• Move sealed pails from the hopper area to a prepositioned pallet, stacking up to 36 pails per pallet.
• Notify the forklift operator when a pallet is full and request an empty pallet to continue the process.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety and operational guidelines.

Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Comfortable lifting and moving pails weighing up to [insert weight].
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or production settings is a plus but not required.
