Specific Role Responsibilities:
- Implementation
Contribute to the standardization and integration of FP&A work
- Analyze and design the "to-be" model to ensure efficiency and scalability.
General Role Responsibilities:
- Project Documentation & Requirements:
- Build content for change management plans, reports, processes, policies, and SOPs.
- Collaborate with various teams to assess the current state and design an optimal future state.
- Document configuration requirements, business rules, and data modeling needs.
- Develop and execute test scripts for system and process testing.
- Change Management & Training:
- Support the development of change management strategies and training materials.
- Conduct end-user training and ensure smooth adoption of new systems or processes.
- Execute enterprise application testing to ensure a smooth implementation.
- Process & System Improvements:
- Contribute to the internal support process and propose process improvements to senior management.
- Help resolve complex system and process issues and prevent future issues through corrective actions.
- Support & Consultation:
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for finance systems, providing solutions and best practices.
- Support functional design and resolution of issues during system implementation and go-live.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Support the work transition within the Shared Services Center and ensure process consistency across locations.
- Write, audit, and maintain process documentation, highlighting areas of concern to management.
- Project Leadership:
- Lead smaller-scale projects related to business integration, process improvement, and cost reduction.
- Define and monitor metrics for measuring the success and efficiency of implemented solutions.
Travel & Work Schedule:
- Up to 25% domestic travel, depending on project assignments.
- On-site Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST, with flexibility for hybrid work schedules (e.g., 3 days in-office per week).
- Occasional extended hours and weekend work may be required, depending on project phase.
Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- 3 years of experience in finance or shared service projects.
- General accounting experience with Shared Services (Close/Record to Report).
Required Skills:
- Functional Finance (FICO) system knowledge of SAP S4 HANA.
- Ability to handle multiple project activities and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project).
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with OneStream implementation.
- Functional finance knowledge of PeopleSoft or SAP S4.
- Certified Green Belt in process improvement.
- Deep understanding of Shared Service processes, especially from deployment or integration projects.
- Experience with project metric setting and reporting progress.
