Job Summary:
As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for handling shipping and receiving tasks and maintaining an organized and safe work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Build bulk delivery pallets for customers and load them onto delivery vehicles.
- Handle daily shipping and receiving, including unloading trucks, verifying shipments, and checking for accuracy.
- Operate gas, propane, or electric-powered pallet jacks.
- Assist with warehouse maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, emptying garbage, and keeping the workspace clean.
- Inspect products and equipment to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
- Repack damaged products according to company standards.
- Participate in safety programs and follow company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 1-3 months of warehouse or related experience preferred.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment:
- Frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
- Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and electrical risks.
- Moderate noise level.
