What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bilingual Collector position at EMPLOYMENT & TRAINING CENTERS INC?
Our Collections department is seeking highly motivated Collectors to join our team. The Collector focuses on collecting monies on delinquent property taxes on personal and business accounts. They are responsible for inbound and outbound calls in order to set arrangements for debt payment or establish debt payment schedules. Additionally, the Collector will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all collection activities. Therefore, the right candidate must have proficient computer skills, excellent communication skills, and a friendly demeanor.
Job Duties:
Locate and monitor overdue accounts.
Locate and notify customers of delinquent accounts by mail or telephone.
Advise customers of necessary actions and strategies for debt repayment.
Persuade customers to pay amounts due or set arrangements for debt repayment or establish repayment schedules that the firm requires.
Responsible for keeping up with their emails, incoming correspondence and respond in a timely manner. And other duties assigned
Describe the Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Collector sits for at least 6 hours per day
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

Requirements
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- 2 years Office Experience, Necessary Travel, Employee is expected to work 40-hour weeks, including rotating Saturdays)
