3RD Shift
The Sanitation Team Member, employed by HR MGMT 10 LLC as the Employer of Record, will be responsible for performing sanitation duties at a specific production, cultivation, or retail facility of our partnered cannabis brand. This role involves executing daily cleaning tasks to maintain a clean, safe, and compliant environment. The Sanitation Team Member will follow the direction of the Sanitation Lead, adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs), and ensure all sanitation practices comply with safety and regulatory standards specific to the location. The ideal candidate will have experience in sanitation or cleaning roles, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:
Perform Routine Cleaning and Sanitation Tasks:
- Carry out daily cleaning and sanitation tasks for the facility, including production rooms, cultivation areas, common areas, restrooms, break rooms, and retail spaces.
- Follow the established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure all areas meet cleanliness and safety standards.
- Properly use and maintain cleaning equipment, supplies, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Support Sanitation Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all sanitation activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including cannabis industry-specific health and safety standards.
- Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and techniques to prevent cross-contamination and maintain product safety.
- Report any sanitation issues, potential hazards, or maintenance needs to the Sanitation Lead or Facility Manager.
Maintain Cleanliness of Equipment and Surfaces:
- Clean and sanitize equipment, tools, and surfaces according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) to prevent contamination and ensure operational efficiency.
- Assist in the proper disposal of waste, including cannabis byproducts and general waste, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Inventory Management and Supplies:
- Monitor the usage of cleaning supplies and chemicals and report inventory needs to the Sanitation Lead.
- Ensure safe storage and proper labeling of all cleaning chemicals and supplies in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with the Sanitation Lead and other team members to ensure smooth and efficient sanitation operations.
- Participate in team meetings and provide feedback on potential improvements to sanitation processes and SOPs.
- Assist with additional tasks as needed to support overall facility operations and goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent; experience in sanitation, janitorial, or custodial roles is preferred.
- Basic understanding of sanitation practices, cleaning protocols, and safety standards, especially in regulated environments such as cannabis, food, or pharmaceuticals.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely, following all safety guidelines.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 21 years old.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Ability to obtain and maintain any required state-specific certifications for sanitation roles within the cannabis industry.
- Physical ability to perform typical sanitation tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
