Job Description:
The Budback reports to the Retail Inventory Manager. The Inventory Agent is responsible for the upkeep of the Retail floor inventory and maintaining sufficient levels of product for sale for the adult use and medical sales floors alike. Budback is also responsible for maintaining compliance while handling and moving inventory locations. The Budback also has sufficient knowledge of the retail space, product masters in the POS, and the ability to update and maintain an accurate menu in-store and online.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Maintain the floor stock of AU and Medical with available “ready for sale” products.
- Ability to understand placement within packaging room, rolling lockers, and vault for sales floor restock / compliance measures.
- Prioritizes inventory flow in the packaging room/vault with a first-in-first-out method (FIFO).
- Ability to follow directives as communicated by the Retail Store Managers, Inventory Managers, Assistant Store Managers and Senior Inventory Agents.
- Ability to be flexible/adaptable as the sales floor and workday functions change directives.
- Understands the flow of product selling in high volume and advises/prioritizes inventory movement accordingly.
- Communicate with the Inventory Manager and ASM on duty about putting out new products.
- Maintains an accurate menu in-house and online with the use of POS product masters
- Knowledge and/or ability to perform Dutchie functions, including inventory locations and transfers, correct editing of product masters, and printing appropriate product labels.
- Basic working knowledge of product compliance measures per 935 CMR 500.000 (AU regulation) and 105 CMR 725.000 (MED regulation). This includes appropriate labeling measures for products (flower, edible, vape, concentrate, topical, etc.), METRC tag placement with all items within the facility, and all compliance directives communicated from the Inventory Manager.
- Ability to be cross-trained as an Inventory Receiving or Processing Agent as necessary.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Full-time position requiring a minimum of 32 hours a week.
- Ability to perform the following physical tasks: sitting, standing, stooping, stretching, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, performing repetitive motions, and carrying boxes.
- Open availability throughout the week as needed.
- Must be willing to commit to a monthly audit schedule.
- Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and METRC.
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
- Good organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented and good with numbers.
- Ability to follow written procedures and monitor others for adherence to written procedures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior experience in highly regulated industry, quality control, and quality assurance.
- Over 21 with the ability to obtain an MA agent registration card.
- Completion of state seed-to-sale tracking (METRC) industry training.
- Ability to lift over 75 lbs and pull 150 lbs.
