Job Description:
Packaging Technicians package finished marijuana infused products (MIP) efficiently, accurately
and in occurrence with compliance regulations. The MIP Packaging Technician assists with daily
tasks, as needed, to maintain a productive work environment and attain production goals. This
role may require occasional overtime and the ability to sit/stand for long periods.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversee quality standards are met and report issues to management
- Accurately produce quality acceptable labels for packages
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work environment
- Communicate effectively with other NEA departments
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and utilize problem solving skills for a positive
outcome
- Ability to manage time efficiently to meet deadlines
Qualifications:
- 21 years of age or older
- 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Suite software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Motivated, flexible, and adapts to changing situations
- Ability to obtain an MA agent registration card
- Able to pass a drug and background screening
- Able to lift, push, pull 50 lbs
- Able to repeatedly perform the following tasks: sit, stand, stoop, stretch, bend, twist,
reach, carry, lift, push, and pull
