JOB DESCRIPTION
The Warehouse Team Member, employed by HR MGMT 10 LLC as the Employer of Record, will work on-site at one of our brand partners' cannabis production facilities to support warehouse operations. This role involves receiving, organizing, and maintaining raw materials and finished goods in the warehouse to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The Warehouse Team Member will work closely with the Warehouse Manager and other team members to ensure accurate inventory management, compliance with safety regulations, and timely support for production needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse or inventory roles, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:
Receiving and Inventory Management:
- Assist in receiving incoming raw materials and supplies, verifying the accuracy and quality of shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Record and document the receipt of materials, updating inventory management systems accurately and promptly.
- Perform regular inventory checks and cycle counts to ensure inventory levels are accurate and properly maintained.
Warehouse Organization and Maintenance:
- Organize and store raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods in designated areas of the warehouse, following established guidelines and safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment, ensuring aisles, racks, and storage areas are free from clutter and hazards.
- Assist in rotating inventory to minimize waste and ensure the availability of fresh materials for production needs.
Order Fulfillment and Coordination:
- Assist in picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy, proper packaging, and labeling in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support the production team by ensuring raw materials and supplies are readily available and delivered to the appropriate departments as needed.
Safety and Compliance:
- Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required to maintain a safe working environment.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, including cannabis industry-specific health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Report any safety concerns, incidents, or potential hazards to the Warehouse Manager or Facility Manager.
Equipment Operation and Maintenance:
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move and organize inventory within the warehouse.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on warehouse equipment to ensure it is in good working condition and report any malfunctions to the Warehouse Manager.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with the Warehouse Manager, production, packaging, and inventory teams to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to coordinate inventory movement and address any issues.
- Assist with additional warehouse tasks as needed to support overall facility operations and goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent; experience in warehouse, inventory, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and safety standards, especially in regulated environments such as cannabis, food, or pharmaceuticals.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment is a plus; certification is preferred.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 21 years old.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Ability to obtain and maintain any required state-specific certifications for warehouse roles within the cannabis industry.
- Physical ability to perform typical warehouse tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
