- Have familiarity with designing custom machinery to customer design specifications.
- Proficiency with engineering design programs SolidWorks and PDM software.
- Sound knowledge of design and engineering principles and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Selection of pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical components based on machine function.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- ttentive to detail, critically minded and self-motivated with the ability to follow a project to completion.
- Background in polymer molding, specifically using liquid polymers for dip molding or dip coating a plus.
- Conduct required research for commercially available items for mechanical systems.
