What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Development position at EmploYou, LLC?
The Director of Development serves as key partner with the CEO to lead, plan and implement fundraising strategy to help build sustainable and diversified revenue streams. Collaborates with the agency’s leadership team, and works closely with board members, committees and community leaders in partnership with the CEO. Plans and executes unrestricted fundraising efforts and tracks outcomes. Increases unrestricted fundraising through solicitation of sponsorships, corporations, individuals, family foundations and major gifts while building relationships and grows existing relationships with donors.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in philanthropic studies, nonprofit management, business management, public relations, communication or related field in Social Work, Psychology, Education or a related field
- 5 years’ experience in fund development, business development or sales
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite
- Valid Texas Driver License with acceptable MVR and background check
