Position Summary
The Recruiter will identify, screen, recruit and onboard job candidates to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. Responsible for full cycle recruiting for all positions by attending job fairs, college campus and community events, and networking with candidates and organizations.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
preferred.
Experience: Minimum of two years recruiting and onboarding candidates required; understanding of social media recruiting; recruiting in a nonprofit environment preferable.
Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office including web-based video conferencing;
Applicant Tracking System experience required; the ability to learn additional computer applications required.
Certifications & Licenses: PHR certification preferred; SHRM’s Talent Acquisition
Specialty Credential a plus.
Other Requirements:
Travel: Local and intrastate travel required.

- Consults with supervisors, managers and directors to understand the requirements, duties and qualifications for vacant positions.
- Maintains current understanding of fair and competitive market salaries and demand for candidates in particular positions.
- Organizes and attends job fairs, college campus and community events, and other networking opportunities.
- Implements sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
- Posts jobs and collaborates with the Marketing department to advertise positions.
- Screens candidates, selects qualified and interested candidates for the interview process, and connects viable candidates with hiring managers.
- Assists with the interview process, schedules interviews, attends and conducts interviews with company leaders as necessary.
- Follows up with candidates and hiring managers after the interview process; collects feedback when candidate is unsuccessful.
- Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or human resources staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
- Prepares offer letters and communicates with the candidate about the job offer.
- Assists successful candidates in preparing their application for approval to work with clients through Vocational Rehabilitation.
- Checks candidate references and credentials; conducts background checks.
- Completes new hire onboarding, schedules training, ensures new hire has necessary resources and equipment for start date.
- Assists with performance management by sending out reviews, tracking reviews and ensuring reviews are completed.
- Ensures employees provide the company with updated auto insurance and auto registration as needed.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
- Completed FMLA forms and monitors FMLA for employees.
- Assist with company benefits.
- Ensures Level II backgrounds are renewed for employees on company Vocational Rehabilitation Roster.
- Tracks and updates current Vocational Evaluator applications for Vocational Rehabilitation.
- Updates and monitors req forms.
- Monitors and tracks employee referral program.
- Drives to various locations as needed.
- Completes other related duties as assigned.
