Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience in AAC to join our team. As an SLP at Empower AAC, you will provide high-quality therapy services to individuals with diverse communication needs, collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams, and support clients in finding their voice through AAC.
Responsibilities
- Provide AAC therapy services in schools to individuals with diverse communication needs
- Collaborate with families, schools, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure clients receive comprehensive support
- Support clients in finding their voice through AAC, using the most appropriate technology and strategies
- Provide training and support to families and caregivers in using AAC systems at home and in the community
Requirements
- Current SLP licensure in New Jersey, CCC required
- Experience with AAC and a strong understanding of its role in communication
- Neurodiversity-affirming mindset and a commitment to inclusive, client-centered care
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for empowering clients to communicate and thrive
