Empower Behavioral Solutions is expanding and seeking passionate, qualified Behavior Consultants to join our team. We provide services to individuals with developmental disabilities supported through the Indiana Waiver Program, helping them overcome behavioral, social, and emotional challenges. As a Behavior Consultant, you will play a key role in empowering individuals to live their best lives, promoting independence, inclusion, and personal autonomy.
Responsibilities :
Flexible Schedule : Enjoy full autonomy to set your own work days and hours, creating a schedule that works for you.
Behavioral Assessments : Conduct functional behavioral assessments, including observations, environmental assessments, interviews, and data collection.
Behavior Support Plans (BSP) : Develop and revise individualized BSPs with proactive and reactive strategies.
Program Design : Design customized tools and strategies to support client goals.
Training and Support : Provide training to family members, staff, and other support people on implementing BSPs effectively.
Behavioral Growth : Help clients acquire positive, new behaviors as outlined in their BSP.
Collaboration : Work alongside a dedicated team to ensure effective assessments and behavioral planning.
Qualifications :
Education : A Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, applied behavior analysis (ABA), special education, or a human services related field is required. Please do not apply if you do not meet this education requirement.
Experience : Minimum of 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Preferred Certifications : BCBA, LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT credentials are a plus.
Other Requirements :
CPR / First Aid certification
