roofing projects
ensuring competitive pricing and maintaining cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
The position will play a crucial role in building and maintaining relationships with clients and subcontractors. The Sales Manager will
ensur
sales targets are met
or exceeded
through
pursuing, closing and moving deals into production.
Key Responsibilities :
- Team Leadership and Training :
Train and mentor, the on-field sales team to enhance skills and performance.
Meet with commercial and residential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored roofing solutions.
Identify and pursue partnership opportunities with vendors, contractors, and other relevant organizations.
Set and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team and individual team members.
Continuously educate yourself and the team on industry trends, products, and techniques through vendor resources and training programs.
Collaborate with other departments, including project management and customer service, to ensure a seamless customer experience. Oversee scheduling and resource allocation to optimize the sales team's efficiency.
Qualifications :
3 years' experience in estimating, preferably roofing or general construction
High school diploma or GED
Understanding of roofing systems, materials, industry standards, and installation practices.
Analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to provide precise and competitive estimates.
Understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
Experience in business development.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in MS Office Suite and experience with project management software.
