Position Overview
The Junior Project Manager will work closely with the VP of Operations to analyze and improve business and technical processes. This role will be a critical contributor to defining requirements, specifying solutions, and documenting deliverables. Acting as a primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors, the Junior Project Manager ensures that implemented technologies align with and support core business objectives. This position will be instrumental in conducting feasibility studies, defining project scope, and assisting in project prioritization and delivery management.
Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination and Facilitation:
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings with cross-functional teams, providing clear agendas and documenting key action items.
- Participate in status meetings, taking detailed meeting notes to ensure alignment among stakeholders.
- Business and Process Analysis:
- Assess core business operations and processes, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct problem-solving sessions and data analysis to support informed decision-making.
- Recommend and document improvements to enhance operational efficiency and support business goals.
- Requirements Definition and Solution Design:
- Collaborate with business owners to gather and refine requirements for new projects and enhancements.
- Create solution design documents and deliverables that clearly outline project objectives and desired outcomes.
- Project Management Support:
- Assist in developing project activity plans, schedules, and timelines that align with company goals.
- Track project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and barriers to successful project completion.
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with vendors and internal staff to facilitate project execution.
- Act as a key point of contact for vendors, ensuring clear communication and alignment with project goals.
- Documentation and Training:
- Document all phases of project delivery, from initial feasibility analysis through project completion.
- Provide training to staff on new or updated software platforms, ensuring smooth adoption of new technologies.
- Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Lead and conduct testing of products and systems to validate performance and functionality.
- Document test results, issues, and resolutions, ensuring successful product and systems implementations.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in business or information technology, with exposure to project management or process analysis preferred.

- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies is a plus.
