As a Key Technician Apprentice at Empower Marketing Concepts, you will undergo intensive training to develop the necessary skills required to perform at the highest level. Through this role, you'll not only support and enhance our technical capabilities but also play a key role in our continuous improvement efforts.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Learn the art and science behind cutting, duplicating, and programming car key fobs under the guidance of experienced technicians.
• Drive sales through excellent customer interaction and demonstrating in-depth technical knowledge of car key systems.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of production, inventory, and client transactions to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
• Engage directly with customers, providing top-notch service and detailed explanations about our products, their maintenance, and functionality.
• Attend and actively participate in training and development sessions, aiming for continual improvement and upgrading of skills.
• Adhere to all workplace safety guidelines and contribute to a safe working environment by keeping the work space clean and organized.
• Address and troubleshoot car key issues, implementing effective solutions swiftly to minimize customer inconvenience.
• Examine and analyze malfunctioning car key fobs to determine the root cause and provide accurate repair estimations to customers.
• Develop strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers to foster a collaborative working environment.
• Utilize specialized tools and software for key programming and ensure their proper maintenance and handling.

Requirements

• Must possess reliable transportation and have a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report.
• Demonstrate eagerness to learn and grow independently and as a part of a team.
• Be organized and possess strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Showing consistency between technological acumen and driving sales, leveraging technical expertise to boost business results.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical information in a clear and understandable manner.

• Ability to stand for prolonged periods during shifts and lift objects weighing up to 30 pounds.
