The Aseptic Manufacturing Operator I produces sterile medications in a current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) cleanroom, adhering to International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards and regulatory requirements. This role supports Empower Pharmacy’s mission by ensuring precision, compliance, and quality in manufacturing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Executes sterile product manufacturing in a cGMP cleanroom (ISO 5, ISO 7, ISO 8), following regulatory standards, master batch records, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Utilizes aseptic techniques, operates manufacturing equipment, and maintains an ISO-classified environment through cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilization.
- Prepares work areas, performs calculations and documentation, and transfers products to Inspection and Labeling.
- Supports manufacturing with tasks like autoclaving, bubble point testing, inventory management, and Lean practices (6S, Gemba, Kaizen).
- Trains in aseptic operations, follows hygienic practices, aids new hires, and provides overtime or project support as needed.
