Position Summary

The Information Technology (IT) Intern provides hands-on support for Empower Pharmacy’s enterprise IT initiatives, gaining practical experience in troubleshooting, system configuration, and technical project support. This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn from experienced IT professionals and contribute to infrastructure, application, and user support operations. By fostering a collaborative and service-oriented learning environment, the IT Intern supports the organization’s mission of providing innovative, high-quality healthcare solutions.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Assists with basic IT support tasks such as diagnosing software and hardware issues, setting up user accounts, and responding to service requests.
• Supports the configuration and maintenance of IT equipment including laptops, workstations, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Helps document IT procedures, technical issues, and resolutions to improve knowledge sharing and onboarding processes.
• Participates in system and application testing, patch deployment, and other IT operations under supervision.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to assist with special IT projects and initiatives aligned with business needs.
  
  

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience is preferred, currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of operating systems, networking principles, and cybersecurity concepts.
