Position Summary

The Order Fulfillment and Processing Technician 503B plays a vital role in ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality medications that improve patients' lives. By maintaining precision and compliance, this role supports Empower Pharmacy’s mission to expand access to affordable, innovative healthcare. Duties And Responsibilities

• Ensures accurate and timely picking, packing, and labeling of pharmaceutical products in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and standard operating procedures.
• Verifies and documents all order components, including batch numbers, expiration dates, and quantities, to maintain traceability and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Collaborates with quality assurance and production teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure all products meet established specifications and safety standards.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the fulfillment area, adhering to strict hygiene protocols to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment.
• Monitors inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain personnel to prevent shortages, minimize waste, and support uninterrupted order fulfillment operations.
  
  

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently use their hands and fingers to handle or feel in order to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. Experience And Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical order fulfillment, inventory management, or a related role within a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in a relevant field or certification in pharmaceutical operations is preferred.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification is strongly preferred; Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) certification is preferred; cGMP training certification is preferred; Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) certification is preferred.
