Position Summary
As a Senior Operations Project Manager at Empower Pharmacy, you will lead high-impact initiatives that drive efficiency, compliance, and innovation. Overseeing complex projects and cross-functional teams, you will optimize workflows and ensure strategic alignment. Duties and Responsibilities
- Drives cross-functional project teams to strategically plan, execute, and deliver high-impact initiatives within the compounding pharmaceutical organization, ensuring seamless alignment with organizational goals, regulatory mandates, and evolving customer needs.
- Develops and implements comprehensive project plans with meticulous timelines, precise budgets, resource optimization, and clearly defined deliverables—maximizing operational efficiency and instilling accountability at every stage of the project lifecycle.
- Cultivates strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, external collaborators, and regulatory agencies to streamline communication, proactively resolve challenges, and ensure strict adherence to the organization’s mission and uncompromising quality standards.
- Leads a proactive risk management strategy, systematically identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential roadblocks to safeguard project continuity, ensure on-time delivery, and achieve critical business objectives.
- Champions regulatory excellence by enforcing the highest compliance standards, maintaining impeccable documentation, and supporting internal and external audits—reinforcing the organization’s industry leadership and reputation for quality.

- Advanced technical expertise in project management software such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheet, proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, familiarity with regulatory compliance systems, and experience in pharmaceutical processing, including aseptic operations, tech transfer projects, scale-up, and cGMP stability studies.

Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum of 13 years of experience in pharmaceutical, pharmacy, or other current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)-related industries, including at least 7 years leading complex projects, with a proven track record of delivering initiatives on time and within budget.
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, chemistry, chemical engineering, pharmacy or a related field; Master’s degree is preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required; Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher is preferred.
