Position Summary:
As Vice President of the Enterprise Program Management Office (PMO), you will oversee Empower Pharmacy's program management strategy, driving high-impact, cross-functional initiatives aligned with strategic priorities. You will ensure all projects, particularly in production, compliance, and quality, meet current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) standards. This role requires expertise in regulatory requirements and quality management to manage complex projects such as product development, facility expansion, and continuous improvement, while fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversees high-impact, cross-functional projects ensuring all project management processes, particularly in manufacturing and quality assurance, comply with cGMP regulations and industry standards such as Food and Drug Administration, European Medicines Agency.
  • Implements project management governance and controls to ensure compliance and risk mitigation throughout all project phases, using standardized methodologies and establishing governance structures with key performance indicators.
  • Provides executive-level reporting on project portfolio performance and return on investment, aligning project management strategies with long-term business objectives to drive operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and product quality.
  • Oversees the organization’s project portfolio, ensuring that all projects, including manufacturing, quality assurance, facility upgrades, and product development are delivered on time, within scope, and compliant with regulations.
  • Leads a team of project and program managers, providing mentorship, training, and career development while fostering a culture of quality, compliance, and operational excellence within the PMO, with a strong focus on regulatory and quality standards.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Proven experience in project management, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration, with a strong understanding of business operations, process optimization, change management, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels and adapt to dynamic, complex environments.

Experience and Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 10 years of project/program management experience, including 5 years in a leadership role within a cGMP-regulated industry (e.g., pharmaceuticals, biotechnology), and a proven track record of driving growth or managing large-scale projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field required; Master’s degree or Master’s of Business Administration preferred.
  • Project Management Professional, Program Management Professional, or Agile Certification Required. Additional certifications related to cGMP (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs) are a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging AI in daily work to drive efficiency, solve problems, and enhance decision-making—adept at integrating AI-powered solutions into all workflows.
