- Advanced computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Proficiency in teaching and using EMR software.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Graduate of a CAPTE-approved Physical Therapy Program.
- Open to both experienced candidates and recent graduates.
- Current state Physical Therapist license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Bilingual Spanish speaking is a plus, but not required.
- Requires manual dexterity and general strength and endurance.
- Routine lifting (5-35 lbs), carrying (5-10 lbs), pushing (5-150 lbs), and sustained gripping (40-50 lbs).
- Guarding lift loads of 120-140 lbs.
- New graduate PTAs will successfully complete the First Year Experience program
- Participate in quarterly clinic meetings
- Complete clinic notes-coding same day/next day
- Develop-execute Professional Development Plan for self
- Express thoughts on new clinic hires to promote successful transition
- Complete compliance training assignments each month.
