Role: Azure/Fabric Tech Lead
Locations: Woodland Hills, CA (Hybrid Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the cost and performance analysis of running workloads on Azure/Fabric
- Lead migration of Snowflake DB objects Azure
- Work closely with Data Engineers optimize ETL pipelines, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal disruption.
- Architect data models and ensure the structure meets the analytics and reporting needs of the business.
- Work closely with business intelligence (BI) teams align on data availability, reporting needs, and query optimization.
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders define data architecture requirements and design solutions.
Experience:
- 10 years of experience in data architecture, including significant experience with data warehouse design, ETL processes, and cloud data platforms.
- Proven experience with data migration projects, especially from legacy DWH tools cloud-native technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Azure (e.g., Azure Data Engineer or Azure Solutions Architect).
- Experience with PySpark and Azure.
