Summary
We are seeking a Quality Assurance and Corporate Compliance Investigator to join our team at Empower. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our programs meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. Your expertise will help us maintain our commitment to providing exceptional support to individuals with disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular audits of programs and services to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with staff to identify areas for improvement and provide training as needed.
- Monitor adherence to HIPAA regulations and other relevant compliance frameworks.
- Analyze data related to service delivery and outcomes to inform quality improvement initiatives.
- Prepare reports on quality assurance and corporate compliance findings and present recommendations to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of OPWDD and NYS Justice Center regulations, HIPAA, and Medicare guidelines.
- Experience in compliance management within a human services, healthcare or nonprofit setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with staff at all levels.
- Be willing to be on call at times due to completing investigations as well as travel to agency sites in the Niagara County area.
