Bilingual Direct Support Professional – Empowered Care
Empowered Care is hiring compassionate, bilingual Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in leading more independent and fulfilling lives. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about inclusion and enjoys being active in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support individuals during community outings and social activities.
- Assist with daily living tasks (hygiene, meals, medication).
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Follow individualized care plans.
- Monitor and document client well-being.
- Help with mobility and lifting when needed.
Qualifications:
- Must be bilingual (Spanish/English).
- Comfortable taking clients into community settings.
- Caregiving experience preferred, but not required.
- CPR/First-Aid certified or willing to obtain.
- Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to assist with lifting.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
