Direct Support Professional – Empowered Care
Empowered Care is hiring compassionate Direct Support Professionals to support individuals with disabilities in living more independent, fulfilling lives. You'll provide hands-on care, emotional support, and community engagement while promoting dignity and respect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily living tasks (hygiene, meals, medication).
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Follow individualized care plans.
- Support community outings and activities.
- Monitor and document client well-being.
- Help with mobility and lifting when needed.
Qualifications:
- Caregiving experience preferred, but not required.
- CPR/First-Aid certified or willing to obtain.
- Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to assist with lifting.
