Job Summary
We are seeking a Caregiver to join our team. In this role, you will make a difference in the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities by enhancing their quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Transporting individuals to our centers and to community outings
- Lead small group and skill building activities
- Documenting on goals and individual progress
- Provide companionship
- Assist with mobility, hygiene and meal prep
- Assisting with medication
- Light cleaning activities
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role is preferred
- First aid and CPR-certified
- Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills
- Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, creativity and enthusiasm
- Ability to lift up to fifty pounds
- Compassionate, respectful, ethical
