PURPOSE:
To develop meaningful relationships with the people we serve, their families and the communities in which they live. This means you are called to be creative and compassionate in all that you do: transporting the people we serve throughout the community and completing transportation related documentation and coordinating the proper vehicle and facilities maintenance.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Complete routine vehicle maintenance and cleaning tasks, including scheduling maintenance appointments and transporting vehicles to and from scheduled repairs.
2. Complete routine maintenance and upkeep of Empowered equipment and buildings, including but not limited to: HVAC filter replacement, changing light bulbs, changing ceiling tiles, etc.
3. Responsible for regularly schedule building maintenance to include repainting, dry wall repair, stripping and waxing floors.
4. Perform lawn and landscape maintenance including picking up trash from lawn, shoveling walks and drives, and power washing and detailing vehicles.
5. Transport the people we serve to and from the Empowered Center and to various locations throughout the community.
6. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of related services, incidents, transportation logs, maintenance logs and accidents.
7. Maintain a safe sanitary working environment for the people we serve and fellow staff.
8. Inform and assist the Fleet and Facilities Manager in the continuous quality improvement of the services you we provide, the buildings we work in and the vehicles and equipment we use.
9. Perform any other duties related to Empowered Services as may be assigned by the Fleet and Facilities Manager.
Salary : $18 - $22
