Empowered Staffing is partnered with a rapidly expanding portable diagnostics healthcare company based in Skokie that is looking to add an Accountant to their team. They’re seeking a tech-savvy, self-motivated professional to handle day-to-day accounting operations while collaborating with a dynamic team.
Job Summary and Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the senior accountant you will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including:
- Manage the AP function and all vendor payments
- Prepare and record journal entries related to intercompany transactions, cash activity, accruals,
- month-end, and year-end adjustments
- Prepare monthly bank and other account reconciliations
- Prepare special projects as needed
- Maintain Fixed Assets Records including acquisitions, dispositions, and asset verification audits
- Support process improvement and Oracle NetSuite software automation
Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- “Type A” self-motivated, creative out-of-the-box thinker that naturally pushes to constantly improve systems and processes
- Advanced Excel skills
- Oracle NetSuite experience is a plus
- Attention to detail and effective organizational skills
- Able to work independently as well as a member of our team
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Multi-location/subsidiaries experience is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required, and
- CPA (or CPA Track) is strongly preferred.

Salary : $65,000 - $70,000
