As a Certified Medication Aide, you will be responsible for the day to day care of assigned participants and the development and maintenance of self-help skills to those individuals. Must have 60 hour certified nurse aide course and medication administration course in the State of Iowa. Having only a Medication Manager Certification does not qualify for this position.
Schedule: Full-time. 1st (6am-2:30pm) and 2nd (2pm-10:30pm) shift positions available. Schedule will work rotating weekends and some holidays.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Treat everyone with dignity and respect
- Administers medicines/treatments with orders from physicians
- Is knowledgeable of medication information (i.e. use, purpose, side effects, and warnings).
