Medical Transportation Driver
Monday thru Friday
7:00am until 4pm
$14-$15hr
Transporting clients to and from their medical appointments.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be at least 25 years of age
- Must possess a valid Nevada Driver’s license and provide a current 10‐year DMV printout
- DMV printout with no accidents in last 7 years.
- Must pass a mandatory pre‐employment drug and alcohol screening
- Must pass a mandatory criminal background check
- Must be physically able to step up and down steps, safely secure patients for transport, and lift up to 25lbs
- Class B endorsement preferred
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adheres to all laws, rules, and regulations applicable to driving on public and private roads and parking lots.
- Transports patients using company vehicles in a safe and professional manner
- Effectively communicates with clinic, patients, and families regarding schedules, delays, trip progress, and emergent issues
- Maintains a professional image and attitude during interactions with patients and co‐workers
- Uses seatbelts and verifies that patients have properly secured their seat belts or restraining straps, helping them necessary. Drivers must not rely on minors to properly buckle themselves.
- Maintains vehicle cleanliness and completes daily vehicle pre‐trip and post-trip inspections, including possession of the day’s roster, patient contact information, insurance, registration, and child safety checks
- Completes transportation roster accurately
- Understands and operates GPS devices, 2-way radios, and cell phones effectively
