About the Role - Manage the ordering of materials for construction projects, ensuring timely delivery and availability. Collaborate closely with teams to understand material requirements for ongoing and upcoming projects. Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce waste. Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve the best possible procurement deals for materials. Coordinate the logistics of material deliveries and ensure accurate tracking of shipments to avoid delays. Maintain detailed records of material orders, deliveries, and inventory levels for project documentation. Communicate effectively with suppliers to resolve any issues or discrepancies related to orders and deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Experience with ordering various types of roofing materials REQUIRED
- Experience with ordering materials such as windows, doors, siding, gutters, etc. is highly desired.
- Proven experience in materials ordering, preferably within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction materials, their uses, and industry standards.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
Pay range and compensation package - Competitive Salary Performance Incentives, 60k - 65k Annually, Medical/Dental/Vision/401k/PTO
