We are currently seeking a Head of Compliance to join our team. The Head of Compliance will act as an in-house expert, delivering compliance advice and guidance to all Bank employees and partnering with business leadership to address compliance-related matters in new and existing products and delivery systems.
This position is eligible for a Hybrid schedule in Wichita, KS and surrounding areas. Remote in South Dakota, Utah, Oklahoma, Missouri, Louisiana, and Nebraska.

Essential functions of the role:
Compliance
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Bank compliance program.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate identified risks.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines.
- Conduct regular training for staff on compliance topics
- Lead, maintain, update, and oversee the compliance team, systems and models.
- Train the organization on key compliance risks.
- Ensure the bank's lending practices comply with fair lending laws and regulations, including the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA) and the Fair Housing Act (FHA).
- Oversee the CRA program and officer of the Bank
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports as required by federal and state authorities.
- Draft and distribute compliance bulletins concerning proposed regulatory changes.
- Implement automation and process improvement programs to increase productivity and compliance accuracy.
- Chair the Compliance Committee
Card Program and Embedded Expertise
- Comprehends business, regulatory compliance obligations for payment processors as well as MSBs and safeguard functions being performed inside those obligations.
- Maintains real time awareness on regulatory changes and landscape as well as the evolving trends of establishing identity in a digital environment.
- Builds, oversees, and monitors a program that ensures compliance with all payment processing regulations and rules governing this respective sector.
Other
- Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
- Prepare and present reports on compliance activities to senior management and the board of directors.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies on compliance related matters.
- Coordinate and manage regulatory examinations and audits, including CRA.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance in the embedded banking industry, minimum of 10 years of financial institution experience.
- Professional certifications such as CCBCO, CRCM, CIPP are preferred
