The Treasurer/Investment Officer is responsible for the financial strategy of Emprise bank and Holding Company, including managing investments, pricing, interest rate risk, and corporate development.

Essential functions of the role:
- Investment Management
- Develop and implement investment strategies to optimize the bank's portfolio performance.
- Oversee the management of the bank's investment portfolio, including bonds, securities, loans, and other financial assets.
- Conduct regular analysis of market conditions and investment opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal investment policies.
- Pricing Strategy
- Develop and maintain pricing models for the bank's products and services.
- Collaborate with product development and marketing teams to set competitive pricing strategies.
- Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to adjust strategies as needed.
- Ensure pricing strategies align with the bank's financial goals and risk appetite.
- Interest Rate Risk Management
- Identify, measure, and manage interest rate risk exposure.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate interest rate risk.
- Conduct regular stress testing and scenario analysis to assess the impact of interest rate changes.
- Report on interest rate risk exposure and mitigation strategies to senior management and the board.
- Corporate Development
- Lead corporate development initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.
- Conduct financial due diligence and valuation analysis for potential transactions.
- Develop and execute integration plans for acquired businesses.
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and other departments to ensure successful execution of corporate development activities.
- Leadership and Collaboration
- Lead the Bank’s Financial Management Committee and drive all content and recommendations in conjunction with the CFO for committee members.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration.
- Act as a key liaison between the Finance department and other departments, including Business Lines, Risk, Compliance, Technology and Operations.
- Represent the bank in industry forums and regulatory discussions related to treasury management and corporate development.
Other duties as assigned within the scope and responsibility of the job
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in treasury management, financial planning, and corporate development within the banking industry.
- Strong knowledge of investment management, pricing strategies, interest rate risk management, and corporate development.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing financial strategies within a banking environment.
