Position Overview
As a Production Lead, you'll oversee manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality. You'll manage staff, set goals, monitor performance, and implement policies to optimize production processes.
Schedules
Shift 1: Sunday - every other Wednesday 5am to 5pm
Shift 2: Sunday - every other Wednesday 5pm to 5am
Shift 3: Every other Wednesday - Saturday 5am to 5pm
Shift 4: Every other Wednesday - Saturday 5pm to 5am
Responsibilities
Leadership and Team Management:
- Oversee a team of dedicated production associates, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Interview, hire, and train new staff in the department.
Quality Assurance and Food Safety:
- Implement and maintain strict quality control standards, ensuring that every product meets our high standards.
- Prioritize food safety by adhering to rigorous protocols and GMPs, including lot traceability and product inspection.
- Ensure compliance with all safety requirements and wear appropriate PPE, such as slip-resistant shoes, hair nets, beard nets, lab coats, and gloves.
Process Improvement:
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity, streamlining operations to maximize output.
- Understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) that pertain to your area.
Flexibility and Adaptability:
- Ability to step in to any line position to cover unforeseen circumstances.
- May require cross-training on various line positions and job rotation.
- Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, and overtime as needed.
Requirements
- Production lead experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of food safety principles and GMPs.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Thorough understanding of operations policies and practices.
- Must possess basic office skills, including computer proficiency.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.
- Effective communication and training skills.

Pay: $28.88 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
