Position Summary :
We are looking for several Delivery Drivers to operate comfortable, lightweight armored vehicles and serve as the face of the company. If you are a professional driver who enjoys interacting with customers while providing service levels that maintain happy and loyal customers and places value not only on what work gets done, but also how it gets done this could be the job for you.
Reports To :
The Armored Van Driver will report to the Transport Lead or Operations Manager or Branch Manager .
Responsibilities and Duties include, but not limited to :
- Represents Empyreal as a transportation and customer service professional.
- Maintains positive, friendly, and professional communications with customers, co-workers, and management whether in person, by phone, in writing, and / or through computerized and other electronic means.
- Safely operates vehicles in a variety of traffic, road, weather, and daylight conditions.
- Collects, transports, and delivers currency and coin to and from vehicles and client locations.
- Load and unload ATM machines.
- Uses handheld electronic devices to scan and track currency shipments and determine vehicle routes.
- Ensures the safe, accurate, and secure collection and delivery of clients' assets.
- Maintains communications with designated company representatives. Reports delays, customer service issues, incidents, unusual circumstances, and other important information in a timely manner.
- Completes documentation and updates into handheld electronic devices.
- Performs pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections.
- Maintains the vehicle, equipment, and the facility in clean and operational readiness condition.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
