The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a positive environment for our staff and visitors. This role requires prior experience in a custodial role, the ability to work independently, and the flexibility to work in both team and individual settings. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning of offices, bathrooms, and shared spaces in the Victor Building.
- Empty trashcans in offices and common areas.
- Notify the supervisor when cleaning supplies are running low and need to be replenished.
- Report any damaged equipment to the supervisor for repair or replacement.
- Ensure all areas are clean, organized, and safe for use.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle cleaning supplies and equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness across all areas of the building.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a custodial or cleaning role.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning methods, supplies, and safety procedures.
