EMR is hiring a dedicated Security Guard to help ensure the safety and security of all yards in the New Jersey and Philadelphia area. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring incoming calls, observing camera feeds for suspicious activity, and patrolling designated yards. You'll also play a key role in managing incidents, working with local authorities when necessary, and maintaining thorough logs of any security-related occurrences.

Key Responsibilities:
- Address security concerns.
- Patrol assigned, ensuring everything is secure.
- Monitor camera footage for suspicious activities, taking action as needed.
- Work with management to assess situations and determine next steps.
- Collaborate with the IT department and management to address security breaches and review camera footage.
- Engage with local law enforcement when necessary to ensure safety.
- Maintain detailed logs of incoming phone calls, alarms, and incidents.
- Assist with any other duties as needed.
- A strong understanding of security protocols and patrolling techniques.
- Excellent documentation skills for reporting incidents accurately.
- The ability to stay alert and observant in order to detect potential security breaches.
- Capable of working independently while also being a strong team player.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A high school diploma or GED-equivalent is required.
- 5 years of previous security experience is essential for this role.
- Work is primarily performed outdoors, in all weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, snow), so you must be prepared for all types of elements.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
- Flexible hours are needed, including evenings and weekends, based on business needs.
- Ability to lift and carry light weights as required.
